Solana Beach

Fletcher Cove, Solana Beach

The charming, seaside community of Solana Beach is nestled along the northern coast of San Diego County, and is approximately 30 minutes from downtown San Diego. The city of Solana Beach is home to a vibrant train station that serves both Amtrak and the Coaster, one of only three in San Diego County.

With average temperatures of 62 degrees in the wintertime and 77 degrees in the summertime, and 1.7 miles of coastline for swimming and surfing, Solana Beach is the epitome of a Southern California beach town. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the sunset at the award-winning Fletcher Cove Park, where kids and adults can play and relax together. Fletcher Cove also hosts events such as the Fiesta del Sol (with live music, great food and artisan booths), Concerts-in-the-Park, and Holiday Tree Lighting/Sing-A-Long.

The Cedros Design District spans 2.5 blocks with more than 85 unique shops, boutiques, galleries and restaurants, and the Belly Up Tavern is one of the best spots for live music in San Diego. Beautiful beaches and parks, fine restaurants, charming boutiques, local and international nightlife, intimate theater, 18-hole golf courses, prime surf spots and abundant walking and hiking trails are all a part of the Solana Beach experience.
